IDENTIFICATION METHOD
1. Look at the Quality Certification of Home Appliances
If the quality of household appliances is qualified, then the quality of the power cord of household appliances should also be tested, there will not be too much problem.
2. Check the Wire Section
The surface of the copper or aluminum core of the qualified product should have metallic luster. If the surface of copper is blackened or the surface of aluminum is whitened, it indicates that the wire has been oxidized and it is unqualified product.
3. Examine the Appearance of the Power Cord
The insulating sheathing of qualified product is soft, with tenacity and flexibility. The appearance of the product should be tight, smooth and in pure glossiness. On the surface of the wire, it must have clear mark which is not easy to wipe off. If the power cord is not produced with standard insulating material, the sheathing will became a little transparent, crispy and not tough.
